Gandrayda is a shapeshifter whose species is unknown and who has always been a rival to Sammy. Gandrayda is a native of Jovia XII, hence being known as a Jovian. She was tasked to destroy the Leviathan Seeds, like Samus, Rundas, and Ghor were also. Gandrayda was assigned to perform espionage and destroy the Leviathan on the Pirate Homeworld. This Hunter was quickly corrupted by the Phazon and Dark Samus--like Ghor and Rundas were.
